Sacopee Valley beats Boothbay for their fourth straight win

Recap: Sacopee Valley Hawks vs. Boothbay Seahawks
On Saturday, The Sacopee Valley Hawks faced the Boothbay Seahawks in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Sacopee Valley beat Boothbay by the very same score they won with last week: 22-20. Winning may never get old, but Sacopee Valley sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Sacopee Valley's win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-3. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-8 Traip and 3-6 Boothbay (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 27.8% over those games). As for Boothbay, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Sacopee Valley will head out on the road to face off against Old Orchard Beach at 6:00 p.m. on October 31st. One thing working in Old Orchard Beach's favor is that they have now posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season. Boothbay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
