Grove Christian School skates past Banner Christian with ease

Recap: Grove Christian School Falcons vs. Banner Christian
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hampton Christian Academy, the Grove Christian School Falcons were happy to have found some success on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Banner Christian 44-15 at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Grove Christian School also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Grove Christian School found their leader in underclassman Emily Hopkins, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 steals. Another player making a difference was Sidney Fisher, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
The victory got Grove Christian School back to even at 1-1. As for Banner Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Grove Christian School will take on James River HomeSchool at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Banner Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Grove Christian School at 4:00 p.m. on January 6, 2024.
