Basketball Game Preview: Eagle Mountain Knights vs. Brock Eagles

Eagle Mountain is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They came out on top against Benbrook by a score of 60-48. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Meanwhile, Brock came tearing into Monday's matchup with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Lobos, posting a 64-33 win. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 194th, while the Lobos are ranked 609th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brock's victory bumped their record up to 27-8. As for Eagle Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 18-14.

Eagle Mountain didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Brock in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 53-49 victory.
