Basketball Recap: Noah Wilson Key Part of Team Effort in Indians Win

Lawrenceville extended their postseason success on Friday against Paris. They took down the Paris Tigers 57-41. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Lawrenceville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Wilson out in front who shot 70% from the field to rack up 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and three blocks. Thanks to that strong game, Wilson now owns an excellent 45.4% shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Zander Cessna, who went 6-for-12 on his way to 16 points.

Paris' loss came despite strong showings from Jackson Rigdon and Carter Eastham. Rigdon posted 13 points and eight assists, while Eastham had ten points and seven boards. That's the most assists Rigdon has posted since back in December of 2024.

Lawrenceville's win bumped their record up to 24-7. As for Paris, their loss dropped their record down to 18-15.

Coming up, Lawrenceville will square off against Warrensburg-Latham at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Warrensburg-Latham will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Lawrenceville surely won't give up without a fight. Paris does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
