Basketball Recap: Faith Baptist Extends Winning Streak to Four

Faith Baptist waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 48-43 W against Faith Christian. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-46 back in December of 2024.

Faith Baptist's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mason Mack, who posted 14 points. That's the most points Mack has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Troy Smither, who scored 13 points.

Faith Baptist pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points over those games. As for Faith Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Faith Baptist wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 58-45 win against CHASE on the 6th. As for Faith Christian, they will challenge Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
