Football Recap: Marquette Comes Up Short

Marquette fell victim to Eureka and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Wildcats and fell 35-0. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 37-14 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Marquette's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Eureka, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Marquette will face off against rival Pattonville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Eureka is set to take on their familiar foe Hazelwood Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
