Football Recap: Foothill Takes a Loss

Foothill had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped down to 1-2 to make it seven. They took a 19-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warren Bears. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by exactly 12 points.

Lili Reid threw for 126 yards on 19 of 30 attempts. Brooklyn Austin was her top target, picking up 33 receiving yards.

As for Warren, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Warren got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isabella Gonzalez out in front who threw for 190 yards and two TDs. What's more, Gonzalez racked up 116.2 passer rating, the most she's had since back in October of 2024. Sofia Aceves was another key rusher, gaining 38 total yards and two touchdowns.

Foothill didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 27-7 loss against Yorba Linda on the 20th. As for Warren, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 26-13 defeat against Canyon on the 20th.
