Volleyball Recap: Emmaline Bryant Key Part of Team Effort in Wolverines Win + How To Watch

West Cabarrus won the last time they faced A.L. Brown and Mia Javier did her part to make sure it happened again. The Wolverines came out on top against the Wonders by a score of 3-1 on Thursday for which the team can thank Javier, who had 30 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.

West Cabarrus was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (93-90), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22, 15-25, 25-23.

West Cabarrus got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Emmaline Bryant out in front who had 15 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Bryant has posted since back in August. Madison McIntyre was another key player, getting 16 kills and seven digs.

Despite the loss, A.L. Brown still got an impressive performance from Mady Baker, who had nine digs and three aces.

West Cabarrus' victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for A.L. Brown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-11.
