Basketball Game Preview: Garey Vikings vs. Torres Toros

The Garey Vikings just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Torres Toros at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Garey has given up an average of 57.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Garey is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 69 points on Monday, they were much more limited against Walnut on Thursday. They were beaten by the Mustangs 83-23. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Anferny Yom was Garey's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Keivon Chatman held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, Torres ended up a good deal behind Jefferson on Monday and lost 67-48. The Toros have struggled against the Democrats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Garey now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Torres, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
