Baseball Game Preview: Liberty Leopards vs. David Anderson Blue Devils

The Liberty Leopards will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the David Anderson Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses dating back to last season for Liberty and five for David Anderson.

Liberty's last matchup with Brookfield could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Monday. The Leopards lost 15-2 to the Warriors.

Meanwhile, David Anderson didn't have quite enough to beat United on Wednesday and fell 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Blue Devils have suffered against the Golden Eagles since March 25, 2019.

David Anderson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Sturgeon, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Sturgeon brought in this season.

David Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
