Baseball Game Preview: Seven Lakes Spartans vs. Katy Tigers

Seven Lakes hasn't had much luck against Katy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Seven Lakes Spartans will face off against the Katy Tigers at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Seven Lakes 4, Katy 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Seven Lakes is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-3 to Katy, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

James Levin was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out seven batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. What's more, he gave up only three walks, the fewest he's had over his last four contests.

At the plate, Seven Lakes saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeff Sisan, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave Sisan a new career-high in doubles (two).
