Gage Roof looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in February.
At the plate, Kane Decker was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Another player making a difference was Luke Vento, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
