Volleyball Recap: South Iredell Takes a Loss

If South Iredell was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of North Mecklenburg last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hough Huskies on Monday. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 21-25, 25-19.

South Iredell's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Hough, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South Iredell will challenge rival West Forsyth at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Hough is set to square off against their familiar foe A.L. Brown at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
