Football Recap: Polytechnic Skates Past New Designs Watts with Ease

While Polytechnic put up plenty of points on Saturday, the same can't be said for New Designs Watts. The Panthers blew past the Knights, posting a 51-0 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Panthers just coasted through the last quarter.

Polytechnic's win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1. As for New Designs Watts, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Polytechnic will face off against Chadwick on Saturday. The Dolphins will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for New Designs Watts, they will square off against Animo Robinson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will be up against the Monarchs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
