Softball Recap: Hamden Hall Country Day Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Hamden Hall Country Day was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They lost 12-1 to the Hopkins Hilltoppers.

Hamden Hall Country Day saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Carling, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That stolen base marked the first that Carling has snagged this season.

Hamden Hall Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hopkins, the victory also got them back to even at 4-4.

As of now, neither Hamden Hall Country Day nor the Hilltoppers have any future games scheduled.
