Soccer Recap: Sullivan County Takes a Loss

Sullivan County was the 5-4 winner over Northeast Bradford when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Griffins took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Sullivan County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 379th, while Northeast Bradford are ranked 105th).

Blasi Carter and Tucker Blasi scored both of Sullivan County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Sullivan County's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Northeast Bradford, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Sullivan County has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against South Williamsport on the 9th. As for Northeast Bradford, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-1 win against Galeton on the 9th.
