Providence Christian Academy waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Franklin Christian Academy Falcons with a sharp 3-0 win. This was payback for the LIONS, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

While Providence Christian Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 26-24.

Despite the defeat, Franklin Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Tatum Beathard had eight digs and two aces.
