Stanton Wins 21st-Straight Thanks to Barrett Wilke

Stanton picked up their 21st consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Barrett Wilke. Wilke turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 162 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, while also throwing for 85 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his 14th straight game with at least 124 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Stanton's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Wilke and Stanton will square off against Clarkson/Leigh at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Michael Koenig. Elkhorn Valley had no answer to Koenig as he rushed for 85 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 101 yards and two touchdowns.
