Baseball Recap: Maine South Hawks vs. Brother Rice Crusaders
After flying high against Glenbrook South on Thursday, Maine South came back down to earth. The Hawks lost 10-2 to the Brother Rice Crusaders on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Hawks have suffered since March 26th.
Maine South got a good showing from Jack Gianikos, who pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits Gianikos has allowed since back in April of 2024.
