Basketball Recap: Worth County Takes a Loss

Worth County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 62-50 to the Veritas Christian Academy Eagles.

Worth County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Veritas Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Worth County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-50 loss against St. Joseph Christian on the 7th. As for Veritas Christian Academy, they will head out to take on Hancock at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
