Williamstown waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the South Harrison Hawks 10-2. Ten seems to be a good number for the Yellowjackets as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Williamstown's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for South Harrison, they moved to 17-11 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Williamstown is set to challenge their familiar foe Roane County at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, South Harrison will square off against rival Clay County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
