The Back of the Yards College Prep Bobcats's three-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 36-21 win over Woodlawn. For Back of the Yards College Prep, this counts as revenge for the 40-28 loss Woodlawn walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.

Back of the Yards College Prep had a senior duo take command as Natalie Kenny scored nine points along with six steals and Nysiara Roby dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Roby has scored all season. Belinda Rivera was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six rebounds.

The win got Back of the Yards College Prep back to even at 5-5. As for Woodlawn, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Back of the Yards College Prep will challenge Victoria Soto at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Woodlawn won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Ogden International at 5:00 p.m. on January 18th. Ogden International will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
