It's playoff time, and Dundalk had no trouble coming through when it counted. They breezed past the Kenwood Bluebirds to the tune of 54-22 on Friday. The Owls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season.

Leading Dundalk to victory were Caitlyn Howard and Lanaya Valentine. Howard dropped a triple-double with 18 points, 20 rebounds, and 14 steals, while Valentine almost dropped a triple-double with 28 points, nine boards, and nine steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Valentine has scored at least a third of Dundalk's points. Mirah Simms was another key player, putting up four points in addition to seven steals, five assists, and five boards.

Dundalk's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Kenwood, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Coming up, Dundalk is taking a road trip to square off against Perry Hall at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Kenwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
