Ryan Meredith Delivers Best Effort of Season
North Miami was led to victory by Ryan Meredith, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Meredith rushed for 85 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, and also picked up 53 receiving yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 56 yards.
The win (which was North Miami's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. They and Triton are set to duel on Friday.

Brock Benson's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
North Judson-San Pierre was led to victory by Brock Benson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Benson rushed for 222 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
Unfortunately for Caston, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Benson. Benson rushed for 208 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries the last time he and the Comets duked it out back in August of 2023.

North Judson-San Pierre Gets a Boost from Wilcox in 69-3 Win
Kole Wilcox's big game helped extend North Judson-San Pierre's winning streak to eight on Friday. Wilcox was unstoppable, rushing for 139 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Unfortunately for Caston, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Wilcox. When Wilcox last faced the Comets back in August of 2023, he rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Rans Posts Huge Game in 28-21 Defeat
Pioneer had to settle for second on Friday, but Micah Rans sure wasn't going down easily. Nobody could stop Rans as he rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 59 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 83-yard run.
With the defeat, Pioneer broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2. Rans and Pioneer will take on North Judson-San Pierre at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Lake Musall Delivers Electric Performance Vs Culver Community
The second North Miami player making an appearance here is Lake Musall, and for good reason. He rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending a pass.
This year, Musall has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 74.6 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had four rushing touchdowns.
