Corcoran has gone 9-1 against Granite Hills recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Grizzlies at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Corcoran has six straight victories, Granite Hills has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Granite Hills' hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Thursday: Corcoran hadn't allowed a single run the last four times they've hit the field. The Panthers never let Wonderful College Prep Academy get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Monday. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Ethan Chavez, who went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and two runs. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Blake Cabral, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Granite Hills suffered their closest defeat since February 10, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Woodlake by a score of 9-7.
Adrian Bedolla spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned (and five unearned) runs on eight hits.
At the plate, Joseph Magana made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double. Leonel Leon was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Corcoran pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Granite Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 7-14.
Everything went Corcoran's way against Granite Hills in their previous meeting on April 8th, as Corcoran made off with a 10-0 victory. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Grizzlies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
