Everything went their way against the Stockbridge Panthers on Friday as they made off with a 16-1 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Gladiators as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Rogan Slayden made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Slayden was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ryan Perras, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Fowlerville's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-9 when he doesn't).
