Baseball Recap: Brady Comes Up Short

Brady was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Blanco Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since February 28th.

Brady's loss dropped their record down to 3-13-2. As for Blanco, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Brady is set to square off against their familiar foe Comfort at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Blanco will challenge rival Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
