Grassfield won the last time they faced Indian River, and Lauren Priester did her part to make sure it happened again. The Grassfield Grizzlies walked away with a 56-46 victory over the Indian River Braves on Wednesday thanks in part to Priester, who went 7 for 16 on her way to 19 points and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 38 games she's played dating back to last season.

The team also got some help courtesy of Khadijah Rashid, who posted four points along with 11 boards and three steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (four).

Grassfield's record now sits at 15-3. As for Indian River, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.

Grassfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-51 win against Western Branch on the 7th. As for Indian River, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 51-20 defeat against Deep Creek on the 7th.
