Flushing won against Fenton on Wednesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Raiders walked away with a 4-1 win over the Kearsley Hornets. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 4-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for Flushing and bumps their season record up to 11-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Kearsley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
