Marquette Catholic dropped their record down to 9-14 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They came up short against the Jersey Panthers, falling 15-3. If the Explorers were looking for revenge after losing 8-1 to the Panthers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marquette Catholic will face off against Cahokia at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Jersey, they will square off against Collinsville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: the Panthers have lost three straight at home , while the Kahoks have lost six on the road.
