It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Aspen had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Pagosa Springs Pirates as they made off with a 52-30 win. The Skiers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 15 straight.

Aspen pushed their record up to 21-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points over those games. As for Pagosa Springs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.
