Basketball Recap: Stanton Comes Up Short

Stanton was the 82-57 winner over Sidney when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Stanton Vikings took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sidney Cowboys.

Stanton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Sidney, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.

Stanton will face off against East Mills at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Sidney, they will square off against Shenandoah at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
