Flag Football Recap: Compton Beats Millikan for Their Ninth Straight Victory

Compton entered their tilt with Millikan on Monday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They walked away with a 26-18 win over the Rams. This was a revenge game for the Tarbabes: when they faced off against the Rams on September 3rd, they had to take a 24-12 defeat.

It was another big night for Miah Gibson, who rushed for 51 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 156 yards on 17 of 25 attempts.

Compton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ariel Willard and Audrey Baker.

Compton's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Millikan, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-5.

Coincidentally, Compton and Millikan will both be playing Jordan the next time they take the field. The Rams will host the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Tarbabes will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
