Baseball Recap: Crystal Lake Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Dundee-Crown on Thursday, Crystal Lake Central came back down to earth. The Tigers came up short against the Central Rockets on Monday, falling 10-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Rockets: they've now lost seven in a row.

Crystal Lake Central now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Central is taking a road trip to challenge Crystal Lake South at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crystal Lake Central will be paying especially close attention to the Rockets' game: after the Rockets face off against the Gators, they'll take on Crystal Lake Central again at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
