Baseball Recap: McKean Takes a Loss

After flying high against Delcastle Technical on Monday, McKean came back down to earth. The Highlanders came up short against the Mount Pleasant Green Knights on Thursday, falling 10-3. The Highlanders have struggled against the Green Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

McKean saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kevyn Skinner, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Skinner is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

McKean's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Mount Pleasant, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McKean will welcome Woodbridge at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount Pleasant, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wilmington Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
