Despite the loss, South still got an impressive performance from John Glover, who posted 16 points. Gavin Griffin was another key player, putting up nine points.

Walnut Ridge's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryden Hodge, who had 15 points and four steals. Hodge is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Marquis Lucas, who posted 11 points in addition to six boards and four steals.
