Valmeyer found a leader in Kye Holbrook as the squad took down East Alton-Wood River on Monday. Holbrook turned in nothing short of a gem, pitching four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.
