Heritage win going away against Rock Ridge

There's no place like home for The Heritage Pride, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They took down Rock Ridge 41-27 on Friday. Heritage pushed the score to 34-0 by the end of the third, a deficit Rock Ridge cut but never quite recovered from.

Luke Wingfield continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 76 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

Heritage's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Rock Ridge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Heritage will head out on the road to face off against Loudoun County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Loudoun County will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last. As for Rock Ridge, they will be playing at home against Annandale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Virginia (Annandale is ranked 279th, while Rock Ridge is ranked 288th).
