Volleyball Recap: Kerens Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Kerens took on Alba-Golden on Tuesday. The Bobcats fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Kerens took Alba-Golden into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 15-25, 20-25, 15-11.

Kerens' defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Alba-Golden, the victory snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 12-13 record.

Coming up, Kerens will be playing in front of their home fans against Cross Roads at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Alba-Golden, they will venture away from home to face off against Yantis at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
