Baseball Preview: Boulder Panthers vs. Poudre Impalas        
        
		
            
 Boulder is 8-0 against Poudre since April of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Boulder Panthers will head out on the road to  face off against  the Poudre Impalas at 6:30  p.m. Boulder is coming into the  matchup on  a  six-game losing streak.
 Boulder pushed their score all the way to ten on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell  13-10 to Loveland.
  John Foley and  Quinn Fraser stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Foley  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances, while  Fraser  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Charles Margulis, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Boulder  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, Poudre also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Prairie View by a score of  4-1. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  runs Poudre has scored all season.
 Poudre saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jack Prenni, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run and a  double.
 Boulder's record is now 4-8. As for Poudre, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record  this season.
 Boulder skirted past Poudre  8-7 in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Boulder since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
