Soccer Recap: Biloxi Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Biloxi can now relate to. They came up short against the Ocean Springs Greyhounds on Saturday, falling 4-1. The Indians have struggled against the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Biloxi's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11-1. As for Ocean Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5-1 record this season.

Biloxi does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ocean Springs, they will face off against Northwest Rankin on Tuesday. Northwest Rankin's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Ocean Springs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
