Jennings County took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Columbus North, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Jennings County's win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Columbus North, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-10.
Coincidentally, Jennings County and Columbus North will both be playing New Palestine the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Dragons at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bull Dogs will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
