Schenectady was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Columbia Blue Devils, falling 61-34. One positive for the Patriots, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Schenectady's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Columbia, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

When Schenectady and Columbia next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Schenectady will try to stop Academy of the Holy Names' four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Similarly, Columbia will face off against Albany Academy for Girls and their three-game winning streak at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
