Soccer Game Preview: Stagg vs. Chavez + Official Tickets

The Stagg Delta Kings will challenge the Chavez Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Stagg's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Bear Creek by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Chavez sidestepped Weston Ranch for a 1-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Chavez's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 137th, while Weston Ranch are ranked 422nd).

The win made it two in a row for Chavez and bumps their season record up to 13-1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matches. As for Stagg, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

Stagg might still be hurting after the 4-1 defeat they got from Chavez when the teams last played back in February of 2025. Can the Delta Kings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
