Basketball Game Preview: North Fort Myers Red Knights vs. Ida Baker Bulldogs + Official Tickets

The North Fort Myers Red Knights will face off against the Ida Baker Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, North Fort Myers lost to Fort Myers at home by a 62-46 margin. The loss put an end to the Red Knights' undefeated start to the season.

Erickson is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least nine every time she's taken the court this season. Faith MacKay was another key player, putting up ten points.

Meanwhile, Ida Baker played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Lehigh, falling 55-17. The Bulldogs were down 41-14 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Fort Myers fell to 2-1. As for Ida Baker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Everything came up roses for North Fort Myers against Ida Baker in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 61-25 win. In that matchup, the Red Knights amassed a halftime lead of 39-17, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
