Baseball Recap: Sanger Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bridgeport last Friday, Sanger came back down to earth. The Sanger Indians fell 6-1 to the Krum Bobcats on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Sanger saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Levi Hendricks, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Sanger's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Krum, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sanger will challenge Celina at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sanger is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Krum, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Krum Bobcats take on Panther Creek Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th.
