Basketball Recap: Cedar Springs Comes Up Short

Cedar Springs lost against Lowell back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cedar Springs Red Hawks were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 35-34 to the Lowell Red Arrows. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Red Hawks came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 137th, while the Red Arrows are ranked 326th).

Cedar Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Lowell, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7.

Cedar Springs is taking a road trip to take on Coopersville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lowell, they will welcome Greenville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
