Baseball Preview: Leo Lions vs. Hancock Eagles
The Leo Lions will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Hancock Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Leo fell victim to Kennedy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 1-0.
Leo saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Richards, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Hancock had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against Thornton Fractional North as Hancock made off with a 21-1 victory.
