Basketball Game Preview: Farragut Admirals vs. Maryville Red Rebels + How To Watch

The Farragut Admirals will head out on the road to square off against the Maryville Red Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Farragut's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

On Tuesday, Farragut took their contest with ease, bagging a 62-18 win over First Baptist Academy. That looming 62-18 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Admirals yet this season.

Farragut relied on the efforts of Reid Vining, who went 6-for-9 en route to 12 points and eight boards, and Britton Lewis, who shot 83% from the field on his way to 11 points and four steals. Those four steals gave Lewis a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Foshie, who posted six points.

Farragut smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Maryville strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 68-62 W against Paideia.

Farragut's record now sits at 5-0. As for Maryville, their record is now 4-0.

Farragut was taken down by Maryville 60-30 when the teams last played back in March. Can the Admirals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
