Basketball Recap: Rylee Hidrogo's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Trinity Christian Academy over Crockett County

Trinity Christian Academy was the 64-41 winner over Crockett County when they last played one another back in December of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The contest between the Trinity Christian Academy Lions and the Crockett County Cavaliers didn't end well, with the Trinity Christian Academy Lions falling 53-36. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Trinity Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rylee Hidrogo, who posted nine points. Annelise Friend was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Trinity Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Crockett County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.

Trinity Christian Academy will venture away from home to square off against South Gibson at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Crockett County, they will challenge Gibson County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Gibson County will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Crockett County surely won't give up without a fight.
